Well my friend.Ive got the perfect place for you.KERALA.Its an amazing place. You could either choose Trivandrum(the capital city)or Kochi which is another important city in this state which is called God's own country. You will simply love Kerala for what it is-the state with lush green forests,an resplendent cuisine and a wonderful cultural heritage. Both Trivandrum and Kochi are developing cities .You have all the facilities .Maybe not 100s of shopping malls. But I can assure you that youll be able to live in peace. The houses are available at cheap rates for rent compared to other cities in the country,So why wait?Pack your bags and head straight to Kerala

Chennai is the best place.

Ther are no crimes on the street.

There are not too many processions on the roads.

The people are God fearing.

There is a sense of Cultural heritage in the city.

Evenings are really beatiful.

There are no power crisis.

People are very co-operative and helpful, once they know you.

Get all types of food there.

So many nearby places to visit around Chennai.

Lovely weekends.

No crime against women and rape incidents.

No robberies or gang wars.

No Chain snatchings or pick pocketing.

I worked for a Chennai based company for 13 years and I really loved the city, people, the culture, the temples. Except for the hot weather, every thing is fine.

I have travelled the entire country, but nothing to beat Chennai.

Wherever Punjabi / North Indian culture or the people from this part of the country have gone and settled, they have messed the city with filth and dirty politics of neghbourhood. No one trusts them in Chennai. I had initial problems, but overcame it soon.

Chandigarh - Panchkula, Noida-Greater Noida, North of Bangalore city, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Goa could be a few options worth considering.

If u hav stayed in Canada and wanting to stay in India, surely u will be needing a posh and clean place to stay. Opt for Mumbai. Either find a house in Bandra Reclamation or Cuffe Parade. Both are very very posh areas which can meet your standards.

Chandigarh is the best suited city for you. It was the first planned city of India and still is the cleanest with all modern amenities.

Good luck with your move. I'm interested in the answers here, because I too am looking for a smaller city near a bigger city (Vancouver or Calgary, I'd like to stay in the West) to move to.
