I wanna go on a holday with my wife and 6 year old daughter. Suggest some place in Northern Part of India.?

I , me and my wife wanna holiday in some virgin hill destination.We will be driving ourself.We will start from Chandigarh.

If driving on long hill road is no hassel for you and you want a virgin station, go to Kasauni or Kausaani, via Nainital-Almora. It is a beautiful station just under the shade of Mt Everest.

There's no virgin hill station in India,at least I don't know of any.But there are some nice places to visit.

However you must take into consideration your little daughter,and keep to a drive that isn't too tiring for her.

Manali would be nice or then Nainital.

If you do go to Nainital I'd suggest you make an itinery that includes Naukuchiatal,Mukteshwar and Kausani.

hi! If u wanna drive urselves u can but i dont think u'll be enjoying ur holiday with ur wife and daughter. As u wish then. how many days would u like to travel? Well i'll suggest u one. Start from Chandigarh (120kms) 02nights in Shimla (265kms) 03nights Manali (240kms) 01night Dharamshala (90kms) Pathankot from here u may go by train to anyother place or u may even get back to Chandigarh.



Actually u should have wrote something in detail like when would u like to travel, how many days of travel, from where u would like to start/end ur journey. Well, anyways hope that helps u.



U can also go for kashmir its a nice place i visited 2yrs ago & now i think it will be more beutiful.

Visit Delhi but that's no place for a family vacation.Go to Jammu & Kashmir and visit places like the Vaishno Devi Shrine and spend some days in Kashmir.Also visit Shimla.That will be the best and perfect vacation in North India.

da best best in north india wud be chandigarh as it is the most planned city of india and is truely the cleanest and the relaxing one!



also Shimla is a gud place to visit if ur plannig to go now then it's realy hot in india and simla is know to be the summer capital to india!!

You could go to Kasauli, its a beautiful hill station. Its about 70 kms frm chandigarh so it would be easy to travel by car.

Hi Rajesh,

I think the bestplace would depend on your motive- if its relaxation- I would suggest KASAULI ( or maybe SHILLON BAGH). If its being to a popular destination - then SHIMLA is the place to be.

Personally I went to KAsauli- stayed at the KASAULI resort- just near KASAULI-Nice place- great views- but do make reservations in ADVANCE. You can find the numbers on the internet. Just type KASAULI RESORTS.

Also good is SHILLON BAGH- a bit far though. Its beyond CHAIL on SHIMLA ROAD. There are two resorts there- SHILON BAGH and TOSHALI resort.
